An understanding of human anatomy is crucial when animating human characters – making them come “alive”. While I do have quite some knowledge on the scientific approach I have little practice with the artistic. Here are my two first ever human anatomy sketches.
I also recently en devoured on drawing a portrait picture. I wanted to draw an old human to emphasize the folds of the skin and make the shape of the skull clearer. I had a nice photograph of my father with an composition that I really liked. However, I had to speed up the aging process quite some bit.
